Union Reps Panel - November 19, 2026

This unique BCC annual event is in partnership with Southeast Minnesota Building and Construction Trades Council (SEMNBCT) as an opportunity to present career opportunities in the building and construction trades unions. Multiple representatives share about their craft, answer questions from the audience, and are available afterwards for individual questions. This is a great event for students in Grades 11-12 in work-based learning programs, trades and industries or agriculture courses, or undecided about their future plans. The panel lasts 75 minutes and is typically scheduled from 9:15-10:30 AM.

BCC and Rich Larson, President of the Southeast Minnesota Building and Construction Trades Council (SEMNBCT) hosted a panel of representatives from the Iron Workers 512, Laborers Union Local 405, IBEW Local 343, Sheetmetal Local 10, and IUPAT Local 682 to share about their careers and their craft, answer questions from students, and to meet afterwards for individual questions.
